Interspecies Conception

This information is to help establish what races can reproduce with other races. Creatures of the same type (humanoid, monstrous humanoid, etc.) are able to produce children. Some creatures are noted (infamous) for their ability to sire children, regardless of the species of the other partner.

Note: Any race that breeds with a half race , (example a vada with a half elf the child is always born full blooded of the main dominant parent race)

For all purposes the Plane-Touched are considered Human.
Dhampir are also considered Human.
Awakened Golem cannot reproduce.
Asterion can only reproduce with themselves.
Kitsune can only reproduce with themselves.
Gilarsh can only reproduce with themselves. Females set up a nest and lay eggs.
Tengu can only reproduce with themselves. Females set up a nest and lay eggs.
Nil'Dajara can reproduce with any willing partner. see Nil Dajara reproduction
Usakichi can only reproduce with themselves.

Regarding half races

In aldium there is no such thing as quarter races, if a half race mates with a full blooded of a race the more dominant will determine the race of the child. For example if a half elf and a human have a child the child will be human.
In the case of two half species of the same type and subtypes, there is a 40% chance it will be born of either or race and 10% chance it will be "half blooded" like them.

Confused? then just ask the game staff we will figure out what your little tyke is.

Special Race Cases

Vada: When vada have offspring, they are considered human and elf select the highest dominant race for the offspring for example, a vada and a elf or half elf would have a half elf child. in the case of exceptional races such as Houri and Piper the child will always be born Half elf or Fey touched

Nil Dajara: Their offspring are always born Nil dajara no matter the race.

The quarter blood rule

Having quarter blood of one species grants no special bonus or abstract appearance for example, Someone with 25% dragon blood do not have horns teeth or claws they are for all purposes treated as the full blooded version of their current race (the powers do tend to manifest in classes such as sorcerers and bards however) see the Planetouched races on the Race Section for races that are affected by having ancestry to some other creature.

Expected due date

Players are to put the characters expected due date on their sheet the code goes below "Aliases" below is the code.

||~ Expected due date:||5th month of 956||

this is a example for a expected due date they may vary.

Get with a DM

To determine what kind of child you will have speak to Ruin and he will do the appropriate rolls do not take matters in your own hands. also pregnant characters need to tell the staff to avoid paradoxes of time.

Why so many complications for bloodlines ?

Quite simple anyone that has been roleplaying for a long time knows the "Angel/nekojin/demon/elf" concept we minimize that. keep in mind that if your offspring makes no sense in regards to the parents the staff have the right to assist you into selecting a race that will.
